What is Type 2 Diabetes?

Type 2 Diabetes occurs when the body doesn’t use insulin properly or doesn’t make enough, causing elevated blood sugar levels. People with Type 2 Diabetes often struggle with weight management, which can make controlling the condition more difficult. This can lead to other health issues, such as heart disease and nerve damage. If you’re dealing with Type 2 Diabetes and weight management challenges, we encourage you to explore our study options and get the help you need.
