What is Obstructive Sleep Apnea?

Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) occurs when the muscles in the throat relax during sleep, blocking the airway and causing breathing to stop temporarily. This can lead to poor sleep quality and excessive tiredness during the day. OSA is often accompanied by loud snoring and pauses in breathing. If you’re affected by these symptoms, we invite you to explore our study options and find the support you need to manage OSA.
